Housebound but would like our Fish and Chips?

We receive many requests to deliver, and we have considered the options very carefully but feel it’s not practical at this time. However many of those requests have been from housebound folk – many past regulars who simply can’t get out any more.

We’re going to try a service that will allow the less able to enjoy their Fish and Chips. Please order before 4-30 and we’ll deliver free of charge to any genuinely housebound customer who telephones us for Fish and Chips any Monday teatime.

To take advantage of this, simply phone the shop (200401) and ‘register’ and we can discuss the fuller details.

Registration with us is solely to ensure the service is appropriate and deliveries will only be made to ‘registered’ addresses within 2 miles of the shop.

We hope it’s successful and really helps – We plan to continue through the winter and review again early 2012.

At this stage we need to limit the options to a fairly basic (but special of course!) Fish and Chip based menu.

We’ll deliver your food in corrugated boxes which have been proven the best method of retaining freshness for takeaway Fish and Chips. We hope we can help!

We will of course inform those taking advantage of this service well in advance of any changes.
